One Man, One Soul Xavier Edward Holden was eighteen years old and a senior in Forks High School. This was going to be an interesting year, he was hoping to join the military or he would go to medical school. He had applied for both, now he was just waiting for a reply. If he joined the military, it would be the Air Force in the Special Forces or if he went to medical school then he would train to become a children’s doctor. It was something he wanted to do with his life. Right now he was pulling up in his car into the school parking lot. Switching off the engine, he opened the door and stepped out. Xavier then watched as his little sister Susan walked away from his car. He then smirked “Susan, I am watching.” He stated and then gave a playful wink. Chuckling as she cursed him, he locked his car up. He was wearing a pair of black jeans, a black t-shirt all completed with a black leather jacket. Someone shouted over to him. “Hey yourself Newton.” He smirked as he gave a casual wave.
Walking away from the small group, he gripped his books in one hand. Every once in a while he would find himself high fifing someone who then wish him good luck on his next game. Arriving at his locker, Xavier put away the books that he would not need for the day. He looked down at his watch and saw he has a free period; this was going to be a long day that much he was sure of. Slamming the locker door shut, he walked down the corridor, a small bounce in his step, he was not sure where he was heading, but that would not put him off, he might just wander around the school for a short while.
He had been in Fork for the majority of his life, with the exception of four years of his younger life where he lived in Florida before moving back. Xavier had three younger siblings, and his younger sister has just started her first year in this high school, he had made it his mission to protect her from boys in this school. His thoughts were interrupted when he walked into someone by accident, it was a surprise considering people were not going to lessons. “Oh, sorry about that.” Xavier said.

Alice had needed to get her mind off of things for once, usually she didn't mind that considering how her life was never meant to be calm but she neeeded a release and she didn't feel like running or hunting so... she went to school. She pulled up in her car to her regular parking space and sat there for a moment, she had already graduated but she needed to be somewhere away from her family
She rubbed her temples before opening her door, climbing out and closing it behind her. She didn't know why she was here since she didn't go to school anymore but maybe it was just the fact that she was at ease here like before. She leaned against her car watching the High School students clamor around, shaking her head she walked inside and as usual people were giving her "the eye".
She walked through the hallways her mind not really paying attention to where she was going. Becuase she wasn't paying attention she either bumped into a student or they bumped into her and she saw it coming but just didn't do anything to avoid it. "Sorry" she mumbled right when he said it to her.

One Man, One Soul Looking at the culprit that had walked into him, he heard them mutter a quick sorry. That was when he saw it was one of the Cullens, more importantly it was Alice Cullen, of course everyone in the school knew who they were and they were very beautiful people. He wasn’t jealous in all admission, just because he could not deal with everyone fawning over him. Then he looked at her and his breath caught in his throat, he had never been this close to one of the Cullens, and now he could see why everyone did fawn over them. This female was the most stunning beauty he had even see and yet something in Xavier’s mind was telling him to walk away and not to look back. He ignored that red alarm in his head. Trying not to stare too long. “Erm, no need to apologise, it was clearly my fault for not looking where I was going.” Xavier still found himself blinking hard, trying to see if this was simply his mind playing tricks on him. It was hard to concentrate and not stare at what could only be described as a goddess.
She was truly mesmerising, there was no other word to describe this moment. Quickly he cleared his throat. “Sorry, where are my manners, I’m Xavier Holden.” He spoke, even though he knew that the Cullens had graduated. “If you don’t me asking, but are you alright, your eyes look like they hold sadness in them.” He was genuinely concerned, not about the golden colour they held, but just purely because they did hold a sadness he had not seen since his Aunt and that was a while ago. Everyone in the school and even people that had graduated should be care free and enjoy the freedom they have away from what he described as prison known as the education system.
Not really knowing what to say, he stood against the closest locker, his arms folded, this was more of his comfortable stance, and not once to look like he was being cocky and trying to be cool. It did surprise him how often people would mistake this, but they clearly did not him when they did such a thing. Waiting for an answer back from this stunning beauty, he still could not help but stare. It was still playing on his mind that told him to walk away and yet he could not, it was as if she was luring him in.

“Erm, no need to apologise, it was clearly my fault for not looking where I was going.”
She looked at the boy while he starting blinking hard at her. Quickly he cleared his throat which made her look at him, this human was staring at her almost shooken up that she was there. She knew that she had already graduated to most of the students here but she just needed to be here.
“Sorry, where are my manners, I’m Xavier Holden. If you don’t me asking, but are you alright, your eyes look like they hold sadness in them.”
She glanced at the ground quickly, this human was like Jasper. He could see feelings... what was going on with her? Was she was just portraying sadness and pain now? Did she have a black cloud over her head like how depressed humans do in some books, shaking her head she looked back up at him and tried to put on a smile, she wasn't sure how it would come across to him but she did it "I'm Alice Cullen, nice to meet you Xavier and yes... I'm fine. I just needed to come back to the school for a little... um, a release I guess is the best way to put it." to get the subject of their current speaking moment off of her she looked up at him, he was so much taller than her that looking up at him was quite embaressing. She came at least to his shoulder or just below, "How is school for you? You seem to enjoy it" Her eyes looked him up and down taking in his appearence while she asked him this question.
