James walked into the meadow. It was dead. It seemed like no one had been here in a while. He sniffed the air and smelt some hikers walking his way. Perfect lunch time. He took out a locket from his jacket and opened it. In there was a picture of his daughter and Victoria. He smiled, shut it and slid it back into his pocket. The hikers saw James. "Hello." said a female. "Are you lost?" she asked. James' smil didn't leave his pale face. "No. But you're dead." he sneered. The hikers looked scared and confused but before they could move James drained them dry. He stood up and wiped the blood from his mouth. He had never had such a satisfying meal.

Elizabeth watched the scene from a nearby tree, she had just finished hunting some of the wildlife around the area, her eyes returning to their burgundy color with hints of the vegetarians' regular gold hinted in the shade. The female wasn't quite used to this lifestyle, but it was a work in progress. Elizabeth narrowed her eyes at the male in the meadow before her, she knew exactly who he was. That was James. Mate to Victoria.
Thankfully, no one besides the Volturi in the vampire world knew that she had grown fond of the Cullens, therefore she was not a threat to James. However, if he intended to lay a hand on any members of the Cullen coven there would be hell to pay.
"Yeh know, it's a lo' easier to just drain them of their blood and not say anythin'. Don't waste your breath," she commented, her Irish accent thick in her speech. Even though she was trying to go "veggie", doesn't mean she hates humans any less.

James scowled. "What are you doing here?" he growled. He looked at the other Vampire with suspision. He didn't want her coming near him as he had the scent of his daughter on him. "Keep to yourself. I'm only here for the Cullens. Bella mostly." he smiled. He fiddled with the chain on his jeans. He unattached it and threw a picture of Victoria to the girl. "Have you seen her?" he asked. "She's been missing for some time now and my child is getting worried about her stepmother. Tell me or I will kill you. I'm not the type of Vampire to be messed with." he said. A wind blew and the scent of his little girl blew the female Vampires way. James hated it when that happened. He looked the Vampire over once more his scarlet eyes glowing with anger. If the Volturi had Victoria he would try his best to get her back. Not for his sake but for Miss Sullivan's.

"If yeh kill me you'll have the Volturi up your arse and your daughter will become an orphan. I believe you may want to address me with some respect," Elizabeth answered calmly, crossing her arms over her chest. Even though she wasn't as close to the Volturi as she used to be, but if James had done her any harm she knew they would be on it immediately. They don't let anyone come near their guard members without serious consequences. Elizabeth smirked at the scent of his daughter. It was sweet, but she wasn't in the mood for something to eat. She looked over the picture and raised an eyebrow.
"Ah, Victoria. The dogs in the reservation have been whining about chasing her around," she chuckled in amusement, tossing the picture back to the male with a playful look in her eye. "Las' I heard she was on her weh to Arizoneh."

James sighed. "I have no respect for the Volturi. Although my daughter may be admitted. Shes a Vampire as well. A strong one at that." he said. He laughed. "The Volturi are just another coven waiting to be wiped out. They have no respect for other vampires so why should others have respect for them?" he chuckled. "You know how dangerous I am so if I were you I'd keep my distance." he said. He caught the picture and slipped it back in his pocket. "You should join me and my family. We have no pathetic rules like the Volturi and come and go whenever and wherever we please." he stated.

"I do not join any other covens. I walk alon'," Elizabeth answered, cocking an eyebrow with a smirk. "Volturi get on my nerves, so I've been takin' a break."
The truth was, she got sick of being used as a pawn by Aro and his goons so she just left. She was still close to most of the guard and some of the wives, but Aro was someone she was always on the rocks with. She could never tell what he was thinking. The female smirked slightly at his offer and shook her head.
"I prefer the life I've been enjoyin' but thank ye for the offer," she smiled, being as polite as she could be. "But if I hear anythin' abou' Victoria I'll let ye know. I'd expect the same courtesy if it was my mate."
It was true, if it was her mate missing she'd want someone to tell her where he was. Sadly, she didn't get to keep her previous mate because of he Volturi. Her expression hardened at the memory and she shook her head, clearing her thoughts.
