[/color][/center]{appearance;[/color] my eyes are a golden topaz color when i'm not thirsty and they are black when i am. you don't know the meaning of pale until you have met myself or my family. i'm six feet, two inches tall and ast i checked, which was maybe 50 years ago to be honest, i was one hundred and fourty seven. it doesn't change, so i'm still that. i dress casually but in good taste - if i didn't on my own, alice would happily take over the task.
{history;[/color] On June 20th 1901, Elizabeth and Edward Masen gave birth to Edward Anthony Masen in Chicago Illinois. In 1918 his family were suffering from the Spanish Influenza, Edward was 17 years old.
A young doctor named Carlisle Cullen was treating him and his mother, both were on death’s door. After fighting hard against the disease Elizabeth Masen finally succumbed, in her last breaths, she asked Carlisle to do what was in his power for her son. Carlisle saved him, gave him immortality, he changed him into a vampire. Carlisle and Edward have lived together ever since, Edward posing as Carlisle and Esme’s adopted son. He took on the role willingly and has such admiration and respect for Carlisle even though, Edward hates what he has become, he never blames Carlisle for his actions. During those 90 odd years he has spent living as a 17 year old boy, he never found a mate. In 2003 the Cullen’s returned to Forks. Their Family now consisted of Carlisle, Esme, Edward, Emmett and Alice Cullen and Rosalie and Jasper Hale. Edward, Emmet and Alice were said to be siblings as were Rosalie and Jasper, though that isn’t true. None of them are blood related though they are a family in every other way. Now, Alice's power has shaken the very foundation of the family and he isn't sure what is going to happen.
{personality;[/color] i consider myself to be a pretty nice person - er, vampire. i love my family and i enjoy the simple things in life as well as the not so simple things and my needs are few. security and my family. thats it, thats all i desire. there are those who would call me stubborn or difficult, but then i would say the same about them i suppose. i care for people and the world i live in and i'm a decent person unless you do something to endanger my way of life. i can be rather sarcastic, but i prefer to be charming and act like a gentlemen - its how i was raised, you know. i tend to blame myself for things, however, they are usually my fault. i put people before myself and i would die freely for the people i love. i've been called polite and i've been told i dazzle people. i am protective of the life i have and the people in it, and i suppose i over react to things if i fear for the safety of those i love. i tend to think of myself more as a monster then anything and i don't think being a vampire is a life that any human should desire. i tend to think i know more then other people, but i usually do.
i can read minds, think about it. i don't like listening to the adolescent ramblings of the human teenagers around me - case and point, bella's 'friend' jessica because i find them to be trivial and useless. i love to learn new things and gathering knowledge. the arts interest me in the same way i think they interest carlisle. i observe people more then i interact with them but it works out fine because humans naturally avoid us. most, normal humans, anyway. i do hate going on about myself like this, i'm dreadully boring. i don't think i'm very complicated, but i suppose it depends who you ask. i am closest to alice and carlisle and these...developments are, at present, very disturbing to be.
{skills && hobbies;[/color] i enjoy hunting - despite my general dislike for the monster that i am. i play piano, and well - according to my family. i keep journals so writing is a hobby of mine.

{lineage;[/color] my father died and my mother shortly after. i was turned by none other then carlisle cullen, who is my father for all intensive purposes. respectively, esme acts as my mother and emmett, rosalie, alice and jasper are my siblings.
